Customer Reviews

Mixed reviews here on Amazon for this product, but I thought I'd give it a try for my 5 and 3 yr old. My 5 yr old can barely drive it, and my 3 yr old just gets frustrated. It's "all or nothing" controls are difficult to get used to. I would not recommend this toy to a friend.

I bought this car as an inexpensive toy for my energetic 75 lb 2 yo coonhound to chase around the house. For the last 4 weeks, it has held up very well against him pawing at it, flipping it, chasing it, and occasionally stepping on it. (He obviously is not allowed to chew on it.) The battery life is a bit short, allowing us only about 15 minutes of play time per charge on outdoor rugs/hardwood floors, but since that is about the span of his attention anyway, I do not mind. I would recommend this toy for anyone with a bruiser of a toddler that wouldn't be upset with a small amount of play time before having to recharge. The nice thing about recharging is that it requires no outlet- the car charges off of the remote which is nice, but the plug can be a bit flimsy so don't let your kids plug it in for the first time, I almost broke it pushing too hard to try and get it just right. Overall a good toy for what I was looking for.
A note- the controls are a bit touchy, is difficult even for this adult to predict its movement. Not something I foresee a toddler/young child to be upset with, but this toy will not win any races.
