I bought this toy for my 3 year old nephew and it was a big hit with the whole family! He is able to control the toy independently.

Nowadays most parents seem to be looking for educational toys, but some toys are not meant to be educational, they are meant to be fun. This is one of them, it is a lot of fun, my kid is 2.5 years, I knew he was below the recommended age, but it did not seem too complex to me, and after a couple of days the kid was playing with it perfectly, of course bumping a lot into things, but that it part of the fun. For the price / fun ratio, I highly recommend it.
