This is a wonderful disney cars toy. i bought it for less than half off, but for the build quality and fun factor i wouldn't mind paying more. Raoul is not one of the main characters, that's probably why is was so cheap.
the car and remote use regular AA batteries that you can find anywhere.the remote control has one joystock for forward and reverse, and one for turning left and right. when you turn the wheels, the eyes on the car also turns which i think is pretty cool. The car itself has enough power to run around on hardwood floors and carpet. but i don't think it would work too well in grass. The range works pretty well indoors, and controlling it up to 20+ feet is no problem.
Durability wise, I think it is pretty tough. My kids have "jumped" the car off 8 flights of stairs onto hardwood floors and it still works. There are no little pieces to break off. as long as you've got batteries to keep feeding it, i think it will keep on rolling.
about the only thing that would make this a better toy is if it made car sounds or had working headlights, but like Lightning McQueen says "race cars dont need headlights"

Fun, like the other Air Hogs RC cars in this line ("Moving Eyes"). It's on the 49 Mhz frequency, so it won't work simultaneous with Francesco or Shu, which is a shame. Because it looks more compact than the others in this line it really zips around, and it's taken quite a few bumps here without a problem. Very enjoyable.
