This is the review of the Syma S030 Bell 206 RC Helicopter with demonstration.Pros:- It is good looking.- It is RF instead of IRCons:- It does not control well.- Spins constantly.- You have to constantly adjust the trim. With one hand controlling height and one controlling the trim you have no hand left to take the helicopter anywhere (Unless you are a mutant).- Instructions are poor, very poor.- Instructions mention features that are not available on the remote.- Motor burned up on second flight. It never left the table.- gives you a spare rear rotor but no spare main rotors.- My only flight time was exceptionally short. I was hoping for 9 or 10 minutes but got much less.- Turning was very slow.- Going forward or backwards caused the Helicopter to lose altitude rapidly.- There is no where on the packaging, instructions, or easily found on the web to get a phone number for Syma Customer Service.I ended up returning mine for a refund. I am now going to pick a different chopper.Syma S030 3CH Bell 206 R/C Helicopter

Bad luck. Ordered as a Christmas gift from reseller in USA because of price and good looking Bell model. I live in Ottawa, Canada and picked it up in Ogdensburg, NY -a 4 hrs drive back and forth. This is my third RC heli and the worst. Something wrong with the motors - tail spins like crazy even with trim. Have to use rudder control all the time. Battery began to drain really fast after every flight. Initial battery charge was 50 mins for a 6 mins flight. Now it charges in 30 mins but flight lasts only 4 mins before starts shaking and spinning out of control. Reseller was kind to offer the reimbursement but shipping from Canada or driving to Ogdensburg costs more than the heli. Not worth. Stay away from this heli. Jose.

I FOUND IT VERY DIFFULT TO FLY THIS HELI IN THE DIRECTION I WANT IT TO FLY IN. THE TAIL MOTOR IS TERRIBLE. IT CANNOT PUSH THE HELI FAST ENOUGH AND IT IS VERY NOISY. OVERALL, I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS HELI TO ANYONE. STAY WITH THE S107.

I bought 3 of these for my kids and I must say all work great and better then expected they have held up well the 3 different radio channels is a very big plus. Im getting about 30 minutes on 6 rayovac rechargebles or 40 minutes on 6 Duracell rechargebles wich is outstanding for 3 motors each the controller has 1 nine volt battery,when the steering starts to go you know the batteries are getting low. I have tried bigger monster trucks 2 wheel drive wich run for about 11 to 16 minutes and could not follow these off the path . These trucks will drive over down or up your average street curb the suspension works great . They are geared lower about 3-4 mph about a quick walk speed and will drive about anywhere available. My kids love them and I would or will buy them again if needed ..

First to address some of the comments from other reviewers... For the guy who said there is no yaw trim adjustment on the TX - check out the little thumbwheel on the right side of the TX, there's your trim adjustment. For the guy who couldn't charge from computer USB, mine charges just fine using the USB cable that came with the S110g.I have 4 other Syma 3-ch helicopters, the S107g, S108g, S111g, and the S026g. All flew great right out of the box. Not so with the S110g. First flight the helicopter took off, I easily trimmed out the yaw, and it flew for a few seconds before exhibiting a bad case of TBE (toilet bowl effect). It smashed into the wall and 2 parts came off. At first I couldn't tell where the parts came from but they were the covers for the LED lights and just snapped back into place no problem. TBE is NOT when the helicopter rotates around the main rotor axis, that is yaw and that is what the trim control takes care of. TBE is when the helicopter swirls around in a big circle like it is being flushed down the toilet while trying to hover. A little internet searching revealed the possible causes - either a binding flybar or binding upper rotor hub hinges on hinged-blade machines like the Symas. My flybar wasn't binding and the hinges seemed OK, but as an experiment I used a jeweler's screwdriver to carefully loosen the upper blade mounting screws by 1/4 turn, just in case they were a little tight. Couldn't hurt. Then went for a test flight and the TBE was completely cured! Now it flies completely stable and is as responsive as any of its bigger brothers.So aside from the little TBE problem that was easily fixed (and by fixing it I learned a lot about how these little guys work) it's a cool little helicopter and amazingly small.

Received the Syma 110 a few days ago and have been flying it like crazy since. flew great right out of the box with only a little tweeking to the yaw easy to fly in small rooms and very responsive, the only downside is the battery life which is to be expected with such a small heli but can fly on a full charge for about 5 mins. love the usb charger but not the location of the charging port which is on the bottom rather than the side but no big deal all in all great deal flys better than my $60 brookstone copter that ive already broke 2of. i recommend this for any beginner to experienced rc helicopter enthusiast great to add to a collection or to start one with.

I bought the Heli for $18.45 and its a great deal. It charges very fast and flies very stable. It goes forward and back very quickly. The heli is very small but very strong. Its also educational because I learned how helicopters work! The Wings are very strong and the lights it shoots out are cool. The Heli is metal with plastic on it but the plastic is very strong. The Remote has no spring so remember to pull down when your landing! It has Gyro which means it auto - stablizes itself. My other heli, Syma s012 lasted for 4 days. I think this heli will last with me forever!

I purchased a Double Horse 9100 Hoover about 2 months ago and love it. This new Double Horse 9104 is the "big brother" of that heli and is just as fun,the only difference is that you need WAY MORE space to fly the 9104 than the 9100. The 9104 is almost 10" longer than the 9100 and much faster. As far as performance the two are nearly the same.They both have identical flight characteristics and tendencies. The only reason I purchased this chooper is for the challenge of flying a bigger faster chopper with out the risk of a large investment(at $75 this thing is a bargain). If you are an intermidate to advance flier this heli should be no problem to fly(after some swashplate adjustment). But if you have never flown before I would NOT recomend starting with this one. It's far to fast and the controls are way to sensitive for a first time flier or a beginner.

Bought this helicopter for my son's 14th birthday. After initially trimming it so it could hover nicely, he has begun to learn how to fly it. It has crashed several times and I'm amazed how durable the thing is- not to say it's indestructible, but it seems to be very well built. We try to fly it in the morning, or late evening when it is calm outside. Like all RC helicopters, any wind or breeze will make it difficult to maneuver. I think the larger size helps in this department, but it doesn't eliminate the problem. Before ordering it, I checked several RC hobby sites and found replacement parts are readily available in case you do crash it and break it.

i just got mine today from another place. charged the battery about 35 minutes and it was ready i took it down to a friends to fly it. it was not a problem to trim it. the only thing i found out was if you can feel a slight breeze the heli will have a hard time trying to gain any ground forward even with the trim at full forward. it flew fine had plenty of lift for me i really enjoyed it mine is all stock for now. the heli comes with rubber like main blade and tail rotor blade and the fins on the tail shaft are rubber like. mine has the plastic landing gear and plastic canopy. the newer models have rubber like landing gear and canopy. and the heli comes with a extra tail rotor blade and extra main blade. i did not have any trouble with it all went great flight time seemed like longer than 8 minutes. i did do a check for trouble out of the box and found out that 1 of the connect bars for the balance bar was off. i just snapped it on and every thing else looked good. i did a system check after the battery was charged and every thing worked as it should. i will try to post some pics soon. i enjoy this heli and have all ready ordered a bigger battery i see nothing wrong with it in stock form if flew in no wind. so i hope this helps buy your self 1 and enjoy the 9104 double horse great rc heli

The size it what makes it both fun and of a pain. Because it is small it can get to places the others can't and the case it comes with makes it easy to take care of. The bad thing is, every time you charge it and take off you have to re-trim the heli. It will keep spinning until you do and it never seems to be the same way to straighten it up. All being said, I would buy another one.

Easy to use but runs out of battery charge fast. Only get about ten minutes of flying per charge. Charger never gave green light, but easy to fly. Very durable, can handle crashes.
